LipQuick

This prospectus will introduce the LipQuick™, a newly patented technology available for licensing. Up to 43% of adult women in the United States purchase and use lip products on a routine basis, with many more making occasional lipstick purchases. Lipstick must be frequently re-applied throughout the day, making it necessary to carry with you in a purse of pocket. With the average mid-market lipstick brand costing between $18-20 and some luxury brands priced over $50-100 apiece, losing and then replacing a tube of lipstick is no economical feat.

LipQuick™ was born of repeated frustrations with carrying lipstick tubes while traveling, attending sporting events, and concerts. Because purses are restricted at these venues, traditional lipstick tubes are often left to melt in a hot car, requiring frequent replacement. LipQuick™ can fit into a small wallet or pocket, allowing for easy touchups without taking up extra space. If LipQuick™ is lost, there is no great loss to your pocketbook.

PRODUCT FEATURES & BENEFITS

PRODUCT DETAILS

LipQuick™ is a compact, disposable fluid dispenser with an integrated foldable brush applicator, designed primarily for cosmetics such as lipstick, lip gloss, makeup, and other liquid or gel formulations. The dispenser contains a flexible interior reservoir filled with a cosmetic solution. When the reservoir is squeezed, the pressure pushes the fluid through a similarly flexible conduit up toward the attached applicator. The applicator may be folded flat against the dispenser when not in use and covered with a protective flap, keeping it clean and free of dust and contamination. When the flap is opened, the applicator is pulled up into an upright, ready-to-use position. The applicator can be made in a variety of shapes or materials, depending on the product being dispensed.

The main innovation is the all-in-one packaging and application system. Instead of carrying a conventional cosmetic container plus a separate applicator, the user receives a thin, portable package containing a small quantity of product and its own integrated applicator. The design is particularly suited to sample-size or trial quantities, allowing consumers to try different shades or formulations without purchasing a full-size product. The fold away configuration also helps protect the applicator and makes the package convenient for travel or single or multiple use applications.

Although the patent focuses heavily on cosmetic applications, the underlying dispenser concept can also accommodate other fluids such as ointments, paints, inks, gels and any number of similar solutions, provided the formulation is compatible with the reservoir and applicator. LipQuick™ is a portable dispensing package that can be used for any product requiring the integrated tool for direct application.

A follow up patent for the FlowQuick™ uses the same design concept for the reservoir without the applicator. It is designed for liquids, gels, creams, powders, pastes, and other flowable products across multiple platforms, including but not limited to medical, industrial, outdoor recreation, sporting goods, food, and specialty markets. This product can be made using medical or food-grade materials to allow for a broad range of applications. Together, LipQuick™ and FlowQuick™ represent a family of compact, portable dispensing systems designed to improve convenience, portability, product preservation, and single-use or limited-use dispensing.

Inventor Highlight

Sabrina Neugent is an inventor focused on developing practical solutions to everyday consumer problems. As a young single mother, she recognized the need for affordable trial-size cosmetic products that allowed consumers to experience a product before investing in a full-size purchase. Sabrina was frustrated by the number of costly lipsticks lost or destroyed when she was forced to leave them behind in a hot car. These everyday experiences led to the development of LipQuick™, a patented dispensing package that makes cosmetics dramatically more affordable, portable, convenient, and practical. The underlying dispensing technology later evolved into FlowQuick™, expanding the concept beyond cosmetics into numerous additional industries including personal care, medical, food, industrial, sporting goods, outdoor recreation, and specialty consumer products.
